Global Strategy Architect – Avery-Dennison, FEI, Schlumberger
  • Consulted to IT Departments at multi-national customers.
  • Designed global application and infrastructure architecture for Distribution systems.

Avery-Dennison – Office Supplies Manufacturing and Distribution

Appointed as the MfgPro functional expert to the multi-national design team for interfacing the IBM WebSphere e-Business portal with QAD’s DOM (Distributed Order Mgmt) and MfgPro.

Wrote both technical and functional design documents for the DOM and MfgPro components of this integration.

FEI – Electron Microscope Manufacturer for Intel and major semi-conductor fabs

Lead the global business solution design project for the FEI upgrade and reimplementation of MfgPro from version 8.6 to EB2.

Effort covered 3 large, loosely-coupled manufacturing business units in the US, Netherlands and Czech Republic, and 12 sales offices in ASIA/PAC, EMEA, and AMER.  Separate regional QAD consulting teams performed local business process analysis and solution design drafts.  The regional studies where harmonized and combined to produce a fully documented solution and project plan for FEI globally.

The project required design and development of custom integration of BOM/Routings with Engineering systems as well as custom automated data integration between ‘domains’ in the MfgPro DB.

Schlumberger – Oil Field Exporation Services Company

After the acquisition of all major drill-bit manufacturers in Houston, my team converted all the acquired firms to MfgPro in a back-to-back series of high-speed implementations.
